On September 20, 2021, training on HEI internationalization issues was organized by the administration of the Ken Walker International University. The training was led by Irma Grdzelidze - Head of the Quality Assurance Service of Tbilisi State University, Associate Professor, Member of EUA CDE Committee, Higher Education Reform Expert (HERE), Head of the Quality Assurance Thematic Group.
The training was attended by the representatives of the Ken Walker International University Administrative Office, Faculty, Medical Education and Research Development Service, as well as the International Relations, Strategic Development and Human Resources Service.
Irma Grdzelidze presented to the working group the current Higher Education Internationalization trends worldwide, including in the context of the pandemic. Participants, working in small groups, set out a work plan with specific directions.
The meeting was highly interactive. It should be noted that the attendees of the meeting discussed the strategy of Ken Walker International University in terms of internationalization. They discussed the implementation of the measures set out in the Action Plan of KWIU, as well as changes to be considered in the Action Plan in accordance with the current requirements.
