World Immunization Week, celebrated by the WHO in the last week of April, aims to highlight the collective action needed to promote the use of vaccines in order to protect population of all ages worldwide against vaccine-preventable diseases.
Ken Walker International University also joined the celebration and conducted the Immunization Mini-Conference. KWIU students prepared several presentations regarding the history and importance of immunization.
Along with the students, the guest speakers from National Center of Disease Control (NCDC) of Georgia shared the information regarding the vaccination process in Georgia and the main challengers during and after Covid-19.
