On October 9th the Orientation Week (O-Week) has started for the 1st semester students at the Ken Walker International University.
During the first day the students of the Ken Walker International University became familiar with the campus, KWIU services, academic and administrative personnel as well as met their classmates.
As part of the Orientation Week program, Professor Archil Undilashvili, Director of educational programs of Emory University School of Medicine met with the students of the Ken Walker International University. The aim of the meeting was to inform students about the educational exchange opportunities between Emory University and Ken Walker International University, available for KWIU students. The exchange programs in Atlanta include: clinical electives, introductory workshops and academic sessions at Emory University school of medicine and partner healthcare institutions.
Orientation Week is a program of social and academic activities specially designed to introduce students to life and study at KWIU.
O - Week runs the week before the sessions and is a series of several activities: welcomes, events, workshops and informative meetings. This kind of activities help especially international students settle into KWIU-life before the academic year begins.
