Professor Paul Horrocks (the Head of Pre-Clinical Education), Dr. Sarah Aynsley the teacher and researcher and Professor June Keeling were awarded the title of Ken Walker International University Honorary Professors. The delegation of Keele University visited KWIU for the second time during the year. The purpose of the visit was to plan the next steps of mutual cooperation and to discuss new projects.
Members of the Keele University delegation also met with the academic and visiting staff of the Ken Walker International University and discussed the steps that could lead to further improvement of the medicine program. Importantly, Keele University's medicine program is built on problem-based learning. Accordingly, the British colleagues talked about the goodness of this method and the difficulties of its implementation from the point of view of the program development.
One of the links of the further relationship between Keele University and Ken Walker International University will be further development of PBL method.
We congratulate our British colleagues on this prestigious award and wish them success in future!
