Ken Walker International University hosted a workshop and training session for lecturers of the Patient, Doctor and Society (PPS) course, led by representatives from Keele University - Professor Paul Horrocks and Dr. Sarah Ainsley.
The main objective of the training was to refine and enhance integrated, practice-oriented examples and scenarios for teaching within the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) framework.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the content, objectives, and outcomes of the existing learning materials. The British professors provided valuable insights and feedback on the PBL scenarios previously developed by KWIU lecturers, fostering a productive exchange of ideas.
The session concluded with a discussion on future steps for the continued development and improvement of the course.
This meeting once again underscored the successful collaboration between Ken Walker International University and Keele University, dedicated to advancing modern, student-centered medical education.
