A joint meeting of the Faculty and Academic Council was held at Ken Walker International University to discuss ongoing university development issues and establish a shared vision for improving the student experience.
At the start of the session, administration representatives shared updates and planned initiatives for the university’s examination and simulation centers.
Student-elected members of the KWIU Faculty Council, Moazzan Rana and Gnana Sai Maheshwar Redi, presented key findings from student surveys and shared their perspectives on various aspects of student life. Special attention was given to strengthening communication between students and administration and expanding student engagement to foster a unified university culture.
The council also discussed student feedback on important initiatives, including the proposal to hold monthly meetings with faculty members, which would promote open dialogue and active participation in decision-making.
The meeting was attended by Gordon Churchward, Professor of Emory University School of Medicine and Chair of the Academic Council at KWIU, who emphasized the importance of close collaboration between students and academic staff, - a key factor in the university’s growth and progress.
