Digital transformation is one of the major strategic developmental goals of the Ken Walker International University. In order to enhance and promote this direction, the Head of the Strategic Development Department, Salome Dzidziguri, performed the meeting with the administrative staff. The aim of the meeting was to share the information about digital transformation among staff, to allocate the main directions for further development and the reflection of changes into the strategic development plan.
The interesting discussion took place regarding the following topics:
• the importance of digital transformation and the modern global challenges;
• modern technologies/instruments for digital transformation and their effective use;
• the importance of digitalization for data analysis;
• the possible results of the digital transformation;
• our aim and primary goals: where we are, what we do next and what are the final goals for digital transformation?
The systemic approach and the culture of sharing information among the university society was also discussed during the meeting.
As digital transformation is the global challenge for the world's universities, the training and discussions in this direction will be held in future as well.
