Overview

The Frontiers in Advanced Emergency Care & The Mediterranean Academy of Emergency Medicine Joint Congress invites abstract submissions for poster presentations at this international scientific meeting dedicated to advancing emergency care, clinical toxicology, innovation, and global collaboration.

 

Congress Tracks

Abstracts are welcomed in two core tracks:

 

Clinical Toxicology
Including a dedicated session on Toxin-Induced Illness

 

Advanced Emergency Care

The congress brings together physicians, nurses, pharmacists, trainees, and public health professionals from around the world.

 

Abstract Submission Categories

Submissions are invited in the following areas:

  • Clinical Research
  • Quality Improvement & Patient Safety
  • Case Reports / Case Series
  • Public Health & Emergency Preparedness
  • Clinical Toxicology & Environmental Health
  • Biological Toxins
  • Disaster, CBRN, and Prehospital Care
  • Emergency Department Operations & Innovation
  • Global Emergency Medicine 

 

Submission Guidelines

Maximum Word Count: 250 words

 

Recommended Structure (Research Abstracts):

  • Background
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion 

 

Case Reports Should Include:

  • Introduction
  • Case Description
  • Discussion
  • Key Learning Points 

Please Note:
References, tables, and figures are not permitted in abstract submissions but may be included in the final poster.

 

Review Process

All submissions will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee and will be evaluated based on:

  • Scientific Merit
  • Relevance to Emergency Care
  • Innovation and Impact
  • Clarity and Quality 

 

Presentation Format

  • All accepted abstracts will be presented in poster format only.  
  • Accepted authors must register for the conference by June 30, 2026.
  • Presenting authors are expected to attend designated poster sessions. 

 

Publication

All accepted abstracts will be published in the
Mediterranean Journal of Emergency Medicine and Acute Care
