In January 2024, a meeting was held between the KWIU administration and representatives from Emory University School of Medicine, Gordon Churchward, PhD, Assistant Dean for Medical Education and Student Affairs and Mary Jo Lechowicz, MD, Professor and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology.
The meeting centered on important aspects of the university's achievements, such as research in medical education, community service, faculty development, university IT services, and quality assurance procedures.
The representatives from Emory University actively participated in the discussion and contributed to the planning of future benchmarks.
