The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) delegation led by Colonel Eli Lozano visited organizations involved in the partnership program of Emory University (Atlanta, USA).
The goal of the visit was to strengthen new opportunities of collaboration in the fields of education and research.
Within the framework of the visit the guests visited Ken Walker International University (KWIU). Professor Archil Undilashvili, Director of Educational Programs at Emory University School of Medicine and a lead in the Emory-Georgia Partnership, welcomed and accompanied the delegation.
Professor Undilashvili presented a report on the 30-year partnership between Emory and Georgia at KWIU. He emphasized the significant contribution of the cooperation to the development of the healthcare system of the country and medical education.
