Ken Walker International University (KWIU) had the distinct honor
of hosting Ms. Nilakshi S. Sinha, the Ambassador of India to
Armenia and Georgia, on May 3rd. The aim of the visit was to foster
collaboration and strengthen ties between the consulate and our
institution.
During her time at KWIU, her Excellency, Ms. Nilakshi S. Sinha,
engaged in fruitful discussions with administration representatives:
rector, head of the quality assurance department, dean of the
faculty of medicine and stomatology, head of the department of
international relations and strategic development, other key
representatives.
Professor Archil Undilashvili - Director of Educational Programs at
Emory University School of Medicine, presented a comprehensive
overview of Emory University projects in Georgia since the
beginning of USA-Georgia relations, including establishing and
developing Ken Walker International University. The presentation
highlighted the strengths of KWIU's educational programs and
planned initiatives with international partners, emphasizing
commitment to global collaboration and academic excellence.
One main highlight of the discussion was the importance and
outcomes of collaboration with international partners in the
university's development process.
After meeting with the university's administration, Her Excellency
Ms. Nilakshi S. Sinha met with KWIU students of Indian origin and
discussed the embassy's role, possibilities, and responsibilities.
She not only emphasized the importance of knowledge in the
modern world but also encouraged students to actively participate
in the educational process, exchange programs, and international
partnerships. Students were assured of support and assistance
from the embassy, empowering them in their academic journey.
Overall, the visit was highly productive and interactive, with all
parties expressing their unwavering commitment to future
cooperation and collaboration. This commitment serves as a
testament to the significance of such interactions in advancing
