As part of KWIU’s Welcome and Orientation Week, first-semester students attended an engaging session titled “The Calling of a Doctor” delivered by Dr. Lekso Vachadze, Anesthesiologist-Reanimatologist.
During the talk, Dr. Vachadze shared compelling clinical stories from his professional experience, highlighting the importance of empathy, responsibility, and humanity in medical practice. His real-life examples offered students valuable insight into what it truly means to care for patients - beyond procedures and diagnoses.
The session inspired future doctors to reflect on their calling and the profound impact of compassion in medicine.
