The Ambassador of India to Georgia, His Excellency Mr. Subbu Ramesh, visited Ken Walker International University, marking an important step toward strengthening strategic partnerships and expanding international collaboration.
During the visit, His Excellency Mr. Subbu Ramesh met with the Director of Educational Programs at Emory University School of Medicine, Professor Archil Undilashvili, as well as members of the university administration - the Rector, Professor Eka Ekaladze; the Head of Administration, Erekle Kalatozishvili; and other key representatives. The discussions focused on the university’s strategic development priorities and opportunities for expanding international cooperation.
Professor Archil Undilashvili delivered a comprehensive overview of Emory University’s projects in Georgia since the beginning of U.S.-Georgia relations, including the establishment and development of Ken Walker International University. The presentation highlighted the strengths of KWIU’s educational programs, as well as ongoing and planned initiatives with international partners, reaffirming the University’s commitment to global collaboration and academic excellence.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Mr. Subbu Ramesh met with KWIU students. During the meeting, he spoke about the role of the Embassy of India in Georgia, available opportunities, and support mechanisms. He emphasized the importance of education in the modern world and encouraged students to actively engage in the academic process, international exchange programs, and collaborative initiatives. Students were also assured of the Embassy’s continued support in their academic and professional development.
