An article focusing on the assessment of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) use in medical education has been published in an international scientific journal.
The article - “A Performance-Based Rubric for Generative AI use in Medical Students’ Research Tasks: Development and Initial Psychometric Evaluation” - presents a specially developed assessment rubric designed to evaluate medical students’ observable competencies in using generative AI within research-related tasks.
The findings revealed notable gaps in students’ verification practices and transparent disclosure of AI involvement, emphasizing the importance of critical evaluation and patient safety in modern medical education.
We congratulate the authors on publishing another important contribution to the international academic community.
