Ken Walker International University hosted a working meeting with Professor Mary Jo Lechowicz, Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine.
The main focus of the meeting was Narrative Learning, a contemporary educational approach that emphasizes the importance of patient experience, reflection, and story-based learning in medical education. During the discussion, KWIU faculty explored opportunities to integrate this methodology into the curriculum to strengthen students' critical thinking, empathy, and professional communication skills.
