The large-scale university competition UNI4VERSE, organized by the Georgia Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), is back! The project is implemented in partnership with FinEdu, the educational platform of the National Bank of Georgia, and supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia.
This year's main theme is FinTech (Financial Literacy). Students are given the opportunity to create innovative and technological solutions for real-world financial challenges.
What challenges will participants address?
- Financial Services Integration: Integrating new financial technologies into existing systems is complex, making it difficult for users to choose optimal options among diverse services.
- Long-Term Planning: Long-term financial decisions (investments, pension savings) are often perceived as complicated, leading to low engagement.
- Financial Security: Users frequently fall victim to financial fraud and cybercriminals due to low awareness and careless online behavior.
- Everyday Finances: People struggle to manage daily expenses wisely, budget effectively, and build targeted savings.
- Small Business Cash Flow: Small businesses lack simple tools to forecast and analyze cash flow, which leads to unexpected financial crises.

Who can participate?
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students aged 17 and older from any faculty are eligible to join. Registration is accepted for teams only.
It is interesting to see how medical students bring their distinct problem-solving approach to these challenges.
Through an internal university competition, 1 top team (2-4 students + 1 mentor) will represent our university in the finals.
Competition Schedule
- Info sessions and workshops at the university
- Online sessions on refining ideas and preparing Pitch Decks
- October 26–30: Intensive training sessions (AI/ML, Software Dev, Entrepreneurship), mentorship, and prototyping at FabLab
- November 2: Demo Day at Tbilisi TechPark
