Ken Walker International University had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Darpan (Darispan) Prasher – a cultural ambassador and passionate advocate for intercultural understanding.
He is the Chairman of the NGO Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future, recipient of the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (India’s highest civilian honor for overseas Indians), and recognized as an Ambassador of Georgian Theatre for promoting Georgian theatre in India.
Mr. Prasher shared his reflections on the richness of Georgian culture, the deep-rooted ties between Indian and Georgian traditions, and the importance of learning the Georgian language - especially for clinical practice.
Drawing from personal experience, he offered practical advice to international students about cultural adaptation and integration while studying in Georgia.
Mr. Prasher’s visit was a powerful reminder of how education builds bridges, inspires global citizenship, and fosters mutual respect across cultures.
