Ken Walker International University hosted the latest meeting of the Academic Council, attended by the university’s partners from the United States - representatives of Emory University: Chair of the Academic Council and Assistant Dean of Emory University School of Medicine, Professor Gordon Churchward, and Professor Mary Jo Lechowicz from the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology.
During the meeting, the university’s academic team presented the summary report for the 2024- 2025 academic year. Associate Professor Nino Shiukashvili, Head of the Quality Assurance Services, Specialist Mariam Rochikashvili, and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Stomatology, Professor Nino Tevzadze, reviewed the university’s progress based on indicators developed by the Department of Quality Assurance Services.
In addition, the speakers presented the innovative teaching methods introduced into the educational program during the current academic year and discussed upcoming projects aimed at further enhancing the learning process and aligning it more closely with international standards.
